Bude Geology

The Bude area has some of the most spectacular geology to be seen anywhere. This is partly due to its geological history but also due to the miles of exposed structure to be seen in the cliffs along our shore at Bude. The mixture of dramatically folded sedimentary rocks in the immediate Bude area, plus granite intrusions on our moorland and volcanic exposures around Tintagel are all to be seen within 30 minutes drive from Bude.
